Show Your Joe and Paying for People's Groceries Lands on My Top 5 YouTube Videos for This Week

Getting my Top 5 YouTube videos together for the week ending November 23, 2013 was not as much of a chore as it usually is.  Generally I have ten or fifteen videos trying to get my attention, but this week was much simpler.  I decided to avoid the Dr. Who and One Direction craziness that today has to offer, because of obvious reasons (and as a 40-year old I kind of enjoy both).  Still here’s a look at some of the best YouTube had to offer from this week:

Anniversary Prank Backfire

Hey, you can call it juvenile, you can call it immature, but I think it is pretty funny when a mark turns the tables on a prankster.

I admit to not getting this right away, but give the video a chance and it will draw you in with some interesting action.

Thanksgiving Song by Adam Sandler

I’m not really a fan of Adam Sandler’s movies, but I can say I have enjoyed some of his antics over the years.  The Thanksgiving Song is creative and entertaining, and for this week alone it belongs in this list as a prelude to the big day.

Paying for People’s Groceries

In the true nature of the holiday, doing something nice for a complete stranger is pretty cool.  You just don’t see it every day.  That and watching the expression on the faces of the lucky recipients makes all the difference in the world.  It reminds me to say “Thank You” for all things I have.

Show Your Joe

I admit K-Mart drew me in with “Ship My Pants” and followed up the humor with “Big Gas Savings,” but the latest “Show Your Joe” video is another reason why the advertising company behind the ads should get a major raise and few other national accounts.  Funny, Yes.  Entertaining, Check.  Completely ridiculous, Umm, check.
