$800 Starting Price for the iPhone 6, Maybe

The iPhone has been a tremendous success for the Apple, that's pretty much the understatement of the century.  According to Forbes, Apple sold over 500 million of the handheld devices since first putting them on the market 2007 eclipsing the mark earlier this year.

Now with the release of the iPhone 6 moving closer and closer, the price for the piece of technology is still pretty much a guessing game.  Many expect the 6 to fetch a $299 price tag with a two-year contract, but the device could cost as much as $800 without a contract.

The iPhone 6 is surrounded by rumors and unconfirmed reports, so price confusion is pretty much part of the equation.  Even the features and size of the next generation of Apple phones remains to be confirmed by the company.  The launch of the new generation is often one of the most anticipated technology events of the year, and the company should be commended on keeping the product new and fresh.

So what exactly will the new iPhone 6 include and how much will it cost?  Well, nobody knows yet, but details are bound to trickle soon.  It's hard to say if production delays and other rumors are true, but Apple has pretty much proven that it has the ability to deliver a quality product on time.
