Happy National Coffee Day!

If anything deserves a national day of recognition in the United States it's coffee.  The concoction is responsible for helping millions of Americans jump start the day, the afternoon, and the evening.  With an amazing stroke of luck, today is National Coffee Day.  It's pretty much a day that can be celebrated on the cheap side or on the expensive side, it just depends on your tastes.

According to CNNMoney, several chains are celebrating the day by offering free or heavily discounted cups of coffee, and no doubt many are hoping that folks stop in to purchase some other items as well.  I mean why not pick up a doughnut as well?  Of course, there are plenty of options facing anyone walking into a Starbucks, McDonalds, or even their local coffee shop.

Since the coffee industry in America has ballooned into a $4 billion industry, it's really surprise that honoring the fuel that helps drive Americans has become an official day.  There is nothing like a good cup of coffee, and finding your favorite is really a nice celebration that is as personal as it gets.

So pickup those mugs and fill those travel tumblers, because today is the day where coffee drinkers of all ages can bond and celebrate.  Just as long as they have that first cup.
