If you like free things, there is a good chance you are letting some great opportunities pass by or maybe even throwing them out. Hey everyone is frugal to a point, so be on the lookout for programs that just might be helpful to you as you try to save every dollar that’s available. Much of what I’m going to talk about in the next few paragraphs isn’t a secret, but it does take a certain amount of effort. After all, you didn’t think you could get something for nothing did you?
With My Coke Rewards users redeem all those codes on Coke products for points. Those points are then used to purchase things like movie tickets, coupons, magazine subscriptions, and even ear buds. Since every cap has a three point value and those 12-pack fridge boxes have a ten point value, hitting the maximum of 100 points per week isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Some items are better than others in terms of value, but really there are some great incentives simply for drinking a soft drink. With Powerade and more under the umbrella, there are a whole lot of opportunities to get points.
Kellogg’s Family Rewards is another code based redemption program. Users enter the codes on various Kellogg’s products (and there are a lot of them) to earn points for a number of great items as well. Just like many programs, it takes a fair bit of saving and banking to get anything worthwhile, but you’d be surprised how fast things can add up.
Perhaps one of the easier rewards programs to get something of value, Bing Rewards credits users for searching using the search engine. Again, there are ceiling limits on both PC and mobile searches every day, but getting a Hulu subscription or Xbox Live subscription is completely within the realm of free. In addition, Amazon gift cards give this program nearly limitless potential.
Okay, so getting free money should be right up there with everything else right? It’s impossible right? Actually, no it’s not. At Bubblews.com, users get a share of the advertising revenue the generated from their post. Think about a penny per view, a penny per like, and things like that. Once your account reaches $50, you can earn a payout to your Paypal account. It takes 30 days to receive most cash outs; however, Bubblews is more social media site than writing site, which means that just about anyone can make a few bucks without any great writing skills. Plus, with up to ten posts per day, users can really get the earnings flowing when their social connections start to heat up.
Gone are the days when you had to sift through a number of ads in the newspaper or search frantically through junk mail for savings packets. With Coupons.com, users can choose what coupons to clip and print for free. It’s literally like printing your own money. If you are ultra-frugal just remember to balance your savings with the cost of printing all those coupons!
So there you have it, just a few of the money making and money saving ideas out there for you. Are there more? Of course there are, but these are the ones that I find myself moving back to on a daily basis. It doesn’t take a long time, and a few are actually fun to use.
In less than an hour each day, you might be able to find yourself earning some extra cash and saving a few bucks. That alone could equal a nice wage for working from home!
