Andy Russell of Pittsburgh Steelers Fame Appearing at Baseball Card Castle in Cranberry

If you are a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, chances are you’ve heard the name Andy Russell.  The guy is a legend when it comes to the black and gold, and while he might not be as instantly recognizable as other members of the Steel Town lore, his NFL resume is just as impressive, if not more, than other great players from the 1970s era.

According to his biography on AndyRussell.org, he was a member of the 1974 & 1975 Super Bowl winning teams, named to seven Pro Bowls (six in a row BTW), was team MVP in 1971, and was named to the Pittsburgh Steelers All Time team.  Those are some pretty heavy accomplishments that just about any NFL star would be proud of.

Steeler fans and Russell fans have the chance to meet with the man behind the legend at Baseball Card Castle in Cranberry on Saturday October 18 from 5pm to 6pm.  For $25 fans and collectors can purchase a ticket to the event for one signature on their item, and get a truly remarkable experience.  It’s a great way to pick up a nice addition to any Steelers collection or even grab a one-of-a-kind present for Christmas (which is coming up quickly).

Fans can stop in the store before October 18 or call 724-772-0490 for details or to get their ticket.  Baseball Card Castle is located in the Cran-Mar Plaza on Route 19 in Cranberry.
