AirAsia Flight QZ8501 Makes Third Missing Malaysia Flight of Year

It’s almost completely amazing, but another plane has gone missing.  Full of passengers and crew, AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has vanished somewhere over the Java Sea.  While not a duplicate of the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that vanished as well, this is the third time an aircraft full of people has simply gone missing.

According to Yahoo News, AirAsia Flight QZ8501 was carrying 162 people, 155 passengers and 7 crew members, when the plane suddenly vanished without sending a distress signal, but the plane was trying to change flight plans because of bad weather.  So far, it is too early to tell exactly what happened.

In March of 2014 Malaysia Airlines flight 370 simply vanished over the Indian Ocean sending massive search efforts all over the area, in July Malaysia Airlines flight 17 was potentially destroyed over Ukraine by rebels.  And now of course, the third flight linked to Malaysia, the AirAsia flight, has simply up and vanished, but the severe weather could likely provide some sort of clue.

News is breaking every minute at the moment, as updates, rumors, and press releases are starting to arrive fast and furiously.  Not the end of the year that many had in mind, and definitely another mark on the air travel industry in that particular corner of the world.
