Social networking could be the next frontier of digital marketing. In fact, some would say it already is. Companies like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more are just that. They are businesses that allows other businesses and people to interact in a personal and no so personal manner at the same time. The big thing to remember though, is that social media companies are out to make money as well. So what is their product?
You are the one driving people to all those social sites. You as a person through your photo sharing and you as a small business sharing and promoting those events to capture additional customers. Those eyes mean ads, and ads mean money. Advertising has always been the internet’s dirty little secret. However, what if there was a way to tap into the social media money stream. That’s right, what if a company offered you a cut of the social platform advertising dollars they were taking in? Would you say yes?
Well, one company, TSU, is doing just that. Offering to pay users a cut of the advertising revenue that the social media company is taking in. Imagine promoting your company, sharing pictures, ideas, and more and getting a cut of the money your effort generates. Sounds too good to be true? Well, that’s always an issue with internet companies.
As a veteran of the freelance writing world, I’ve learned that you might miss an opportunity if you don’t try to get on the train. Yes, it might not work, and yes, it could work. Just like anything else you don’t know if you don’t try. That’s the real issue. You have to make an attempt.
TSU bills itself as being invitation only right now, and the site is geared like a typical multi-level marketing company. You get a share of the revenue generated by the people you invite and the people they invite, and so on and so forth. Obviously, the platform is geared like the, wait for it, pyramid schemes of old. Of course, business is really a pyramid scheme anyway, what do you call the big corporations making all the money and paying low wages after all? But I digress.
Making money with TSU and getting paid to share and interact with people is an interesting content. No, you likely will not get rich and no you will not likely be able to quit your real life job, if you’re lucky enough to have one, but you could earn some extra cash. And extra cash is always a winner.
Plus, it’s social media, which means women’s asses, bad jokes, and stupid videos are bound to pop up. Really, how can you go wrong with that?
